Critical Error

I log in, launch the game and after a while in main menu i get this -

What steps have you taken?
Run the launcher as administrator.
Disable read only in the game folder options.
If you downloaded it via torrent. Close the torrent application down, and move the folder.
If you've done all these, check for an error log, That would help further.

I've done all of these, but it's still not working. And how do i check for an error log? (sorry for stupid questions)
UPD: now it works fine, thanks for help, removing to another directory actually helped.

hi guys ive been at it now for like hour and i just keep getting this error please help would be great to get bk in to the game again.
sorry if its a simple fix.

I had this problem before they moved the server, after it was moved I could log in without problem again. No idea why :S

I presume you downloaded it via the torrent link? Make sure the torrent application is closed. I also recommend moving thew game folder to somewhere else on the computer, as to remove it from torrent changing the files when you're seeding it.
Make sure read only is unchecked, this is a common thing that torrents do. You can disable it by going into the game folder properties, and uncheck read only.

I did try the possibles fixes mentioned in this thread. Hope someone can help.

Problems where a "Critical error" has occurred was never entirely resolved. For some people certain fixes worked, and for others not, but other fixes worked.
All I can suggest is to ensure you run the launcher as administrator, ensure read only is not enabled. Also, make sure that if you used the torrent download, to move the game folder elsewhere.
Ensure you got latest Directx updates, .net packages,
Make sure launcher is inside the game folder.
Other than that, unless there's an error log that could help. Not much I can do.
