Sometimes I'd like to see classes emulate what we expect from them.

I completely agree. It feels funny to play this great man with a giant 2h axe and do pathetic damage output. I have a feeling this new mechanic is going to slow them down even more but we'll see..

Other than great CC, tough and hits hard is basically Mara.

Solution: give Mara a Chosen skin!

It wouldnt be unreasonable to increase damage if the auras 24/7 duration got changed, imo

2h chosen damage being on par with bg/IB/BO/SM with a more "active" less uptime aura playstyle is all i need to play my chosen full time again. The fulltime super strong auras have always been a chosen curse for me.

Sounds like you want it all. Thats not how this game works. Every class makes compromises for something else. You started chosen knowing full well what it can and cannot do. You went ahead and picked the skin over the play-style and now you're moaning.
