Return of Reckoning

I have encountered a few players fighting until they realize they aren't going to win and I suspect they crash the client/alt f4. I know crashes happen sometimes, it even happens to me in the heat of battle, my internet will drop out every once in a while. It's just strange that the disconnects happen only after the tide of battle is decided.

I wonder if someone did this everyday, and they were reported would something be done to their account? How would I report someone for disconnecting uncleanly?

I know if you join a scenario, while in RvR your character will still appear there but not be able to be attacked. I wonder if the same thing would happen if, someone saw their innevitable doom and just decided to close the game before getting caught in the lakes.

Can witch hunters log out while stealthed? Is logging out before entering combat, to avoid death a thing? It just seems like some cheesy tactics employed by people who want to get kills but have a really hard time losing. I have used my book of binding to escape warbands before though, I wonder if that's the same.

I was under the impression they changed it a while back to where if you alt-f4 while in combat now you basically auto die, server gives a message saying something about how cowardly you are for trying to escape combat, and enemy team gets the renown for the kill. Haven't been playing super close attention lately so maybe something has changed?

If they alt-f4 before getting into combat then they get away free I believe, not entirely sure why it doesn't always seem to start the 20 second logout timer like when you /logout. I think I also heard if you chase them into a PvE area then the log out trick still works there without inducing death.

For the "entering SC to avoid combat" trick, maybe they could add a granted ability when your queue is rdy, 3-5 second channel you have to cast without getting interrupted to actually teleport to the SC, sorta same thing as getting out of combat but would fix the issue of people using the queue as a way to safely test a rvr situation or whatever. Would be similar to you using the book of binding to escape a WB (which I consider a totally valid tactic, hiding long enough to pull off that channel aint ez.)

Probably a lot of work for not a big issue dev wise thou.
