Extremely active during EU prime time, less so during NA prime time. A ton more destro players than order players; don't let the pop count on the front page fool you, a lot of those order players are destros who are xrealming to have someone to fight.
Class balance is pretty good ATM, marauder/DoK/WP are OP compared to their counterparts though. Destro has way better class distribution; Order lacks healers and melee DPS. WP still has no viable DPS spec, and you get yelled at for not healing since there are no Order healers, which is why I stopped playing WP.
Vast majority of PQs are working, there's a PvE set from chapter 22 PQs which require actually organized groups to do (no one actually does it though because the set is meh).
Potions continue to be extremely strong and the key to actually winning anything, so don't bother fighting without an armor pot + main stat pot.
Pug scenario is a coin toss as Order; either you get actual pugs on both sides but your side has no healers so its an auto loss, or you get Destro duo-queing several groups at the same time to cheese a premade into it (seriously do something about this, for the love of Sigmar), or you get an actually fair match. That last one is the rarest. Regular scenarios are basically premade vs premade. Don't bother queing for them if you aren't in a premade - you'll just get stomped.
Overall the game is enjoyable, but I play it casually since I'm WAY too caustic to make friends or actually join groups. That's everything I can think of anyway. Feel free to ask more specific questions.

It's fine. More of the same. Some improvements some set backs. Two steps forward, 1.5 steps back.

Pug scenarios are a choice you make because you're to (fill in the blank) to form a group in a game that depends on group play.

Destro has way better class distribution; Order lacks healers and melee DPS.
A player issue that has no bearing on the game's balance, i.e. it is people's prerogative if they choose to bring melee WPs and DPS RPs - knowing that Order could do with proper classes.
OP: game is good, lots is underway.

As part of an organised unit like the Bitterstone Thunderers? They're a huge addition, I agree.
