To devs.
i have BiS debolster gears for every tiers.
like collector.
now debolster is old story, is it ok to destroy them?
some of them are influence gears. no way to get it again after destroying.
there is no turning back to old t2/t3, right?
in one of million chance if we going back, there gonna be a way to get it again, right?
those gears and i had good memories.
i need closure for no regrets.

It's an alpha, so anything is possible. Probably better to hang onto the gear in the bank just in case, though the current system of T2-T4 appears to be working just fine.

Debolstering into T1 would need quite a bit of work, and the value behind it works against what we're trying to encourage. Taking players out of the big RvR game that is R16+ seems counterintuitive. Having people that enjoy T1 constantly rerolling and making groups to get their gear works just fine. If people that enjoy T1 stop rerolling and just play it out in infinite debolster gear, well, that kind of takes away from the grouping aspect that new players to the game need to feel like there's a healthy game dynamic going on here.
I wouldn't hold out hopes for it coming back.

ty
they were sitting in the bank with dust.
new adventure might be better than searching garage.
time to clean bank room.

Is that what you guys found most player utilizing it for? That's a shame, I really liked the system as it enabled me to help friends through T1 without making constantly making new characters.

When you want to help a friend through t1, make new char and rank up together. You can delete char the moment you both become rank 16.

If there were debolster, I'd likely stroll around to find new players to prop up ~ constantly looking for people to form a semi-regular group.
Gotta get them before the pugging burns itself into their souls...

cleans their souls and purge the unclean!
you know you can do that already in current system.
That's the beauty of tier merge.
play together.
pretty sure low lvl premade can make pug life hard.
ps. my poor english maybe looks like i miss old system? no it's not. I like running t2, t3 zones.

Rule of thumb:
If people don't start grouping (=! joining pug wbs) in T1, they ususally have or develop a hardon for blobs and are scared shitless of dying in a videogame.
If the seed of pugging has been planted, the chances decrease with each additional level, day, hour, minute and second.

I realize and have been doing that, I'm up to three Rune Priests and three Warrior Priests at the moment. My problem with this is that I dislike spending a significant amount of time on a character I will not use again except for PvE farming. With the debolster, I could play my main and get small bit of progress while helping my friends.

I did exactly that with the debolster, because it seems like many people get bored and/or burned out before then even hit r40. They get tired of mindless pug surfing or being constantly steamrolled by a larger enemy pug; there's no one giving out advice on how to play their character to the fullest in every situation, so they have learn in the fire themselves; they don't have a chance to play alongside more experienced veterans, so they get used to poor healing, no guards/challenges, and become very defeatist when see they have to take down a guarded target; and they have no concept of proper group/warband play, which means they have to learn it in T4 against opposing groups who've been running together for years.
Getting people in T1 helps greatly, because they get to enjoy the game for a bit, before they have to go through a decent period of suck. My group is starting to form, missing two tanks at the moment, but once we get them, we'll have a good comp and we'll just need some practice to build chemistry. A big problem has been that we play during NA time, so we either have little to no Destro to fight, or we end up facing a guild with a full group who's fully geared and knows what they're doing (Lord of the Locker Room or DROW/ICONIC). There's been no middle ground the past past two weeks and trying keep people's morale up can be difficult.
