In a fantasy tabletop context, which faction is the most self sufficient if you had to form an army out of just the classes in this game?

An interesting question.
Probably either chaos or high elves, leaning more towards chaos.

Honestly probably all of them. Every race has a tank, a mdps, a rdps and a healer.
If you're talking about overall army strength, lorewise and at this point in Fantasy Warhammer history, High Elves beat the snot out of every other race by a LARGE margin.

I left it open ended for anyones interpretation, but lore wise is not really what I was talking about. Since in lore everyone has a lot more than 4 units.
I think Dark Elves and Empire would suffer for not really having a front line mdps, but you could argue that tanks are kind of like mdps in tabletop since they formed the core ranks of most armies.
Just for arguments sake though, Chaos will eventually win, its inevitable. You cant beat it. The High Elves can delay it, but it will just keep coming back until it wins in the end.

Empires front liners can be BW, dps or melee heal WP and WH. Seen it all and anything is viable if you're brave enough and have capable friends to make it work.

Not really in tabletop (been ages since I touched it though)
If not for the endtimeschoasbadassery Id say high elves would wreck anyone
