XP Larger than the System?

The xp larger than the server/system allows?
This happened yesterday 03/04/17 in DW after we, destruction killed lord(Prior to that, I had XP rest for around 30 ish hours) and im curious if I got zero xp at all( i tend to beleive) or a certain amount out of the 101189 or if its a bug or even a "grey area" regarding xp gained. Im know theres a max xp/renown you can get out of a zone lock but this very "situation" thats somethign else....
