What's the current state of AM as a healer?
I haven't touched my 40 AM since they removed the ability to toggle experimental changes or whatever. What's the current state of the class?
Thanks,

The exact same? No big AM/Sham changes have been pushed through since .ab ex removal.
So, paper thin, long cast times, but nearly zero AP issues, require prekiting. Arguably the “worst” healers, not implying they are bad, but that the other two are simply stronger and far more tanky.
DPS AM has changed quite a bit with the alteration to Detaunt(preapplied DoTs remove it) and Avoidance changes. But with 2 striekthrough tactics, avoidance is largely irrelevant.

good healer, harder to excel at than RP and WP since AM is really squish

Pretty much what Dabbart wrote. You compete with WP. RP is superior to AM in almost every regard (better/more reliable CC, better group buffs).
Maybe some extra strikethrough for the AM CC (silence, ap-drain, heal-debuff, knockbacks) would help.
