@ tank damage

Hi folks, there's something i've noticed that doesn't seem quite right about this server even though I never played live;
Tank damage seems abyssmal across the board. I was looking on youtube and here's the way tanks functioned on live:

Note how, instead of standing there tanking all the chosen's damge, the AM actually runs away, implying that he needs a guard, and quite frankly that's the way it should be; that's why the live designers did it that way. This spamming ravage and constnatly hitting for 100-200 points of damage when you're dps specced to where 90 percent of the people you're hitting on's health doesn't even go down, in my sincere opinion needs to change, it's simply not a good PVP dynamic, especailly when you take into account not all class archetypes have had their damamge reduced down to practically nothing from what is was on live. On this server, high RR bright wizards, and SW's can hit regularly for 1500 and sometimes as high as-4000 a hit, whereas tanks have trouble even doing 200 points of damage when high RR and DPS specced. Healers dictating the entire fight to such a degree was complained and complained about in DAOC, and for whatever reason, excessive healing dictating every encounter seems worse on here by far than what i've seen of live. On this server healers are simply too individually significant, while othe class archetypes, especailly destro tanks are pretty much gnats in comparison.
On this server you could take the lowest in 40 gear aka precursor, gear, put it on cloth wearers, and a destro tank wouldn't be able to break more than about 500-800 damage on him on an extremely hard hit, nevermind hitting for that regularly.
Then you have Melee SW's on this server that don't even have full DPS gear, and can hit for 600 NON CRIT damage a hit on tanks that have 4k armor and 1k toughness.
And before anyone uses the "Well, the videos on youtube are post LotD" i have talked to countless people, and they also state that tanks when the game FIRST CAME OUT did damage in the four digits, rather than the lower three digits, what's more is, not all the videos on youtube take plaCe after LotD in fact, most of them take place BEFORE LotD
All i am saying is damage tables amoungst the class archetypes needs to seriously be looked at, above all else.
