Return of Reckoning

Hello,

I've come across something strange I suppose? I had started playing this game after almost a 2 year absence. I wanted to remake one of my characters that I hadn't yet progressed too far on, but I wanted to remake the character with the name I had on it... I had deleted the character and went through the creation process and went to type in the name that I had and it said "You have entered a duplicate or invalid name. Please enter a new name." I thought out of the most strangest possibility was that someone had created a character within the 5 minute time frame of me deleting a character to then recreating a new character. I logged on and attempted to search the person with my previous used name and no results were found. Note that this happened to me two days ago. I still cannot create the character I want with the name I want. Anyone have any whereabouts of this?

Except that it will require 2 server resets not 1 like everyone like to say.

It never takes just 1.

It requires 2 weeks. Not 1 restart. Obviously.

Well, terminology aside as I probably use the wrong one, what I do when I want to reuse a name is delete the character and write down the "up since" date and time from the main page/ latest news page. When that changes two more times you will be able to remake a character with the deleted name.

That could take only 1 day (extremely rare) if alot of issues happen with the server and its restarted often or up to 5 days (never had it take longer than 5 days).

This has been my personal experience since the reuse on names got put on a delay.

And Ive used it a lot of times.
