This may be complete bollocks but am I right in assuming that certain races have higher base stats in different areas?

Switchng between my SM and IB, my IB despite using the same gear setup has a MUCH higher base chance to be crit, I'd imagine BO's have the same issue (its why I think theyre the squishiest defensive destro tank). If thats the case, whats Dwarfs base stat specialty? What do humans and chaos get? Those sorta things.

Elfs got Initiative, Dwarfs got Toughness. I'd have to check exactly, but I'm lazy .

Base initiaitve values of order classes:

WP: 123
KOTBS: 123
BW: 172
WH: 196

AM: 172
SM: 172
SW: 147
WL: 172

RP: 147
IB: 123
ENG: 196
SL: 148

Dont know if I can see any trend there.

Above stats are for Rank 40 I think.

They increase with each level, for example Toughness for IB increases by 4 each rank.

Cool, thanks. The initiative differences are quite significant, considering how important crit reduction is right now. Hopefully devs are still considering these when balancing sets and classes.

Can we get those for destro just out of curiosity or is it mirrored?

I wouldn't mind seeing all the stats for more accurate comparison

Yes they are for level 40.

Healers get 22 Initiaive, tanks 41, phsyical dps 0 and magical dps 122. This would indicate that base values are not considered.

And since all the stats for sets are the same across archetypes it's not a surprise. I imagine it would be a huge amount of work to make every set unique for almost every class.
