New Player [HELP!]

Hello everyone, so I recently found out about this game. I am in love with PvP, solo, small scale fights and large scale fights. I am wondering with class to play. I always loved the assassin gamestyle but in GW2 on zergs I was playing revenant. I love a fast killer with fast movements and escape abilities. I started with a witch elf but I wanted to know if the fight here is balanced. Will I be able to 1v1 every class ? (Not particularly win but if I am skilled enough will I be able to take him down ?) Is the witch elf the class that I will be able to enjoy in large scale fights by picking out specific targets and also be part of 6v6, 1v1 etc ?

WE/WH are the supposed "stealthy assassins", but dots and enemy pets have a tendency to break stealth easily these days.

Fastest movement in game belongs to WL who can pounce long distance in seconds to a distant target, and then leash out massive burst, and then either Charge away or Pounce to other direction to next victim.

You "might" be able to have some chance in 1v1 against many classes on WE, but nothing is guaranteed.
WE can be deadly to some extent in 6v6, but other classes are more in demand for that scale of action.

1-join a guild or be in a team, if you like emo-casual solo play this game isn't for you.
2-go with squig herder if you love both small scale and zerg fights.

Maybe this will help:

Class choice

I think WE/WH seems to to be easy choice for new players. They have no tens of skills, one simple job, undependant on guild members online. But require knowleadge about other classes and their pros and cons. Choice is yours.

How dare you say that! Lots of stuff would suggest otherwise! :D

No of course I love the teamplay. I am coming from GW2, 20-30 guild on TS cordinated. I love RvR but I also love the 1v1. So WL is my best option you think huh ?

WL is a very good beginner class with use in most environments other than 'coordinated/organised WBs' (which doesn't really exist on Order). It's also very good 1v1.

So WL mean white lion right ? Well yeah basically I think you all got what I mean. I want something that can be played on every aspect of the game (no matter the role) that can engage fast, deal great amount of dmg and disengage fast as well. No matter if it has stealth or not this is not my concern I just want .. you know that stealthy think .. engage, kill disengage. If there is anything else other than White Lion I would love to hear it ! Quess I have to try everything to choose my self but still your answers helped me a lot ! Thanks in advance !

You got Tempest Wolves on Order side, I think they came from GW2 as well. You can find a new home I suppose.
