Return of Reckoning

I am very happy to recommend the game and the server to my friends, but many do not come and do not try it because they are in alpha status and therefore they do not really come.
And very few people are playing the game and if they start, why not start their own starters, etc.
what can you say to them? when are you going to go further? and growth?

Probably they are afraid of copyright issues.
I think, there wouldn't be wipe, so what a problem if there would be a Beta sign or release? Just play and have fun.

Well there is aside from some balance issues, they want to tackle someday, a lot of content from live we still dont have in here, like fortresses, dungeons, cityfights and some more things. So there is no use calling it anything other than it is, a incomplete game.

We are not yet feature complete so alpha will stick for at lest the time it takes us to get there, meaning all dungeons, forts and city sieges needs to be implemented.

I wonder, as we aren't getting any hard-wipe of our chars, what will be the sign of getting from alpha to beta and ultimately to release

As said above:

Beta would mean that everything is implemented, like city sieges, dungeons and so on.

Live would most likely mean that the major bugs are sorted out and all features that are planned are working.

upon entering beta every point of renown gained will be subtracted from you rr lvl instead.
On release: everyone will only have 2 hp and one melee skill that deals 1 dmg. no heals! Also, you will be chickens - amazing!
