Return of Reckoning

Hi,

I just deleted one of my characters (in order to change race) and tried to create a new character with the same name.
I took around 14 seconds and I don't think someone took the name right I deleted my character.
But now the game says it is a duplicate name.

Do I have to wait for the server to refresh or something?

The name is stored in the db until the next server restart. This was implemented, because the exact thing you just tried to do caused accounts to get bugged.

You can still save names, you just have to wait for a server restart after deleting the character to be able to reuse the name.

Hi, i got the same problem, i waited for the server restart that occur this night and i cannot still use the old name T_T.

Looks like i got the same issue - name is still not usable after the reset

Well, the last time the server went down it was not in a good manner. We will be doing another restart tonight. Check back tomorrow.

i got the same problem. I deleted a character yesterday and could not reuse the name. As far as i have read in this forum this is usually fixed after a server restart. However, there have been a reset today (if i have seen this right) and i still got the error message about duplicate/invalid name.

Is there any other solution?
