I tried searching the forums, but didn't find anything solid. I was wondering how the loot bags for public quests work, mainly what controls the type of bags that are available. Is it just the level of quest (easy, regular, hard), or does number of players come into it?

Mainly it's the level of PQ. Don't think you can ever get a gold bag from an easy PQ, for example. But you have a *chance* to receive a gold if you do a normal PQ. Hard PQs will always drop at least 1 gold. The more people you have, the better chance you get the higher tier bags and the more total bags there will be. There's likely a formula, but that's the gist.

Why does number of players increase the kind of bags you can get? If 3 guys can do a hard by themselves, don't they deserve good bags?

You can get gold bags from easy pqs in t4 as i have had 5 myself, though i would say i doubt we'll see onslaught dropping from ch22 easy pqs.

We can assign individual loot to PQ by ID.

Gutbashed Gnoblars is an Easy PQ but was set during a long time as a Normal PQ. I corrected it with the patch of 7th october, but if you did it before, gold bags were possible.

Ah, makes sense. Did you correct the ch17(i think) easy pq in destro elf as i have gold from that prior as well.

A more direct question would be: If a group of 3 did a hard PQ, would the chance for gold bag to drop be the same as if a group of 6 did it?
