Graphics card for RoR

I'm keen to uograge the GPU in my PC. Currently have a Nvidia 8600 GT which is about 8 years old I think. Played WAR and plays RoR okay but only at low res and fastest framrate settings. I wanna enjoy the game at better settings.
Can anyone recommend the cheapest graphics card that would comfortably run RoR on High Quality? It does not need to be at all fancy, RoR is the only game I play.

Find the cheapest card on amazon. Any card will play war on High.
I sometimes play it on my pavillion laptop on high and its fine.
AMD r7's are great value even the 240 will play it on high easily.

Any mid range card will work just fine 
It all comes down to how much you're willing to spend, but the x60 category from nvidia will work plenty fine (660,760 or 960). For AMD, the 7700 series (260/270 series) will be fine too.
Down to personal choice but allowing for some future overhead, so your card will last hopefully a few more years is money well spent.

RoR is so low that more or less any graphics card on the marked will take it in highest preformance. My old PC with a Gtx 640, ran it on best quality xD
So yeah, you can get almost any card and it will run it perfect. But go with something better just in case you feel like playing other games.
Nvidia Gtx 670 should be cheap and a fine card i have heard.

Maybe even a 650ti, that will run just about any game on the market atm. Just make sure your PSU is 500w or above, cards from 650 on require a higher wattage than say 620 etc.

I play with a ~ 4 year old gtx 470. No problems even with 2880x1620 downsampling and antialiasing.

I play with some offbrand 1gb card. That I got for like 30 dollars. You don't have to drop a lot of money to enjoy this game. Anything will do. Pricewatch.com has a lot of new (but generic) parts at wholesale prices. Its how I got my DVD writer when it first came out for like 55 dollars, instead of the 179 something wanted by other places.

I ran exactly the same GT 8600 years ago on low settings.
If you dont wanna spend extra money You can go with GTX550Ti, its quite old and must be cheap now) I use this with shiny settings with no problems!

A bit of a necro here but not upgraded my graphics yet and have a bit of extra cash now so thinking of whole new PC. Again, only play ROR so don't need this to be the schizzle but how would something like this PC on ebay handle ROR at max settings???
