Return of Reckoning

For about the last week or so, there has been at least from my perception an increase in the number of rants coming from Toxic players. I can only speak to what i see on Order. The incidents which have really annoyed, frustrated, ticked me off, are the ones where a player (and honestly it's only a handful but they make it seem like more) berates the entire realm when someone asks eithre for help in t4 chat or asks a question about an RvR mechanic in genral or advice. At which point the toxic player goes on and on about how much order sucks because of <insert grievance here>

Seriously just stop if you really hate the people you play with that much get off the realm and go play the other side. When you are that toxic to the entire realm no one will listen to you even if you might have good ideas. I know i certainly don't want to listen to anyone who insults people on such a broad range, (unless we are talking about insulting destro characters which is ok because they are just evil ).

I understand that people can be passionate about the game but there is a line between passion and absurdity and despite what we all say about not caring what other people think it does affect how people enjoy the game. After all I can either continue to listen to the toxic player go on or go do something else i enjoy. I play this game to have fun and although i can ignore you, it has effects on others and it can over time ruin the fabric of the game.

Even though it will be in vain all i want is for those players who are so mad that you can't help but insult every player on your side to take a chill, and enjoy this community of people who enjoy something you enjoy too, this game. Maybe the appeal is in vain but i figure this is far more constructive than bashing people on general chat.

And I am not asking the GMs to do anything, i think as a player base we should at least try and police ourselves a bit.

If you ignore them, they don't get the attention they crave.

Or just take a few screenshots and send them to a GM. We deal with toxic players pretty quickly.

There's also a ton of people on lately. Sounds like some of the salty ones died in pvp.

Maybe it’s because lately there are so many players afking on bo’s not contributing / decreasing aao or even not helping on fights outside of the tick radius ,
This leads to frustration ,
lack of willing to learn how to play even when advised ,
Can only speak for order side ,
But there is no excuse for abusing players .

population increases, more casuals and average level players come to the game. Average players get frustrated with pugs and then rage in /1,/2,/3 and probs /t4. Just all a part of the game. People want to vent, but I suggest you find a safe place to vent or as Pen notes, likely going to get banned.

Ignoring them will only make em go away from you...i am sure they want em "slapped" in a general sense.

Let us on Destro know the names of the toxic players, we always need a new target
