Can we have a creative thread about the possibilities within Client control for WP SnB spec? Torque frequently teases us with swordwielding BG and whatnot so lets have some fun theorycrafting.

The keep lord in troll country has a shield and hammer. Would it be possible to create a WP support tank and how would it work.

I Imagine the tactic in grace tree to apply buffs to yourself AND your protected Target as the easiest and most effective change, besides giving access to shields.

It wouldn't take client control to enbale the use of shields for WPs. We even had dual wield WLs back in T2 times.

I doubt it's gonna happen tho.

Just a question... concerning that this is still an alpha game, and that a lot of basic and core stuff are not working, classess/builds not completely done, why would we ask for something advanced and potentially game/balance breaking like this?

Its just for fun and perhaps inspire some good theorycrafting

Like the squig armor tree was changes, maybe somewhere down the line we will see SnB WP and who knows it could be great

squig armor tree was changed because it's underperforming and will allow the spec to work as per how it should. snb wp isn't needed imo.

maby shield appierence? without block or something. its just make look that wp use shield byt its alternative appearance for book.
i seen also elf lord in dragonwake in cool armor with armor trousers. byt i doubt its will able for mortal players.

Maybe it would make grace WP more viable in warbands. lol i think its a fun idea.

And i would say the grace tree is underperforming too in large scale but idk for sure, never really seen it tried in optimal conditions.

SnB WP would be nice for strictly melee healing. Which means, the shield would need to severely limit their "backline" spells. Reducing their effetiveness/range/CDs/whatever.

I too don't see this happening. Who is gonna code the shields? their stats? etc. etc.
