Hello,

i would like advice on best in slot gear for my squig herder.

at rr 39
i was thinking :
ruin - shoulder
annihilator - boots / gloves
mercenary - helm / chest

later at rr 42
annihilator - shoulder / gloves
mercenary - helm / chest
conqueror - belt / boots

with 3 sets, will i surpass the balistic cap ?
is there a better item combo ?

I use full BL on my squig. With a BAL pot, both BAL tactics, and a proc from the set bonus you get right up to the BAL cap with ~500 WS.

gear:
full conqueror gear
3 piece beastlor [jewel, back, pocket]
2 piece genesis
1 t4 empire jewel [bs+ws]

weapons:
double subjugator weapons.
OR
tyrany scenario weapons.

He was asking for rr40, so it unlikely he got the gear you mention.

2 anni-2merc-2 conq and beastlord for weapon skill bonus, 2 genesis and inf jewel is really good if you don't have full conq. And make sure not to slot the ballistic skill only tactic. Don't remember the exact numbers, but somewhere close to 950 ballskill and 750 WS with full WS talismans.

that s pretty end game... i m a casual player... maybe one day :p

Not over the cap really, the full WS setup is for bombing mostly but I find it more than good in ST aswell. If you slot some ballistic talismans instead of WS you can easily get capped though if you insist on doing that. But at any rate this is more or less the most optimal setup you can go, freeing up a tactic for better stuff.

sorry, new player here, WS = weapon skill... what does ST means ?
