Scavenging

820Champ trolls killed and FINALLY one (yes ONE) purple rank 200 armour frag ... is this drop rate intended or was I 10times unluckier than a mate who kills <100 trolls and gets 2 armour and several other purp 200's (he was on Order faction when he got the loots).

I farmed for hours a day after rare fortune came out, haven't seen a single purp fragment since that patch, I just gave up, honestly thought my character/account was bugged.

I believe that is the intended drop rate. In my entire time here while scavenging I have yet to see single purple frag drop anywhere ever.

Only champion mobs can drop Purple fragments. So only a few spots in the game can drop 200 Purple Frags.
@OP its just bad luck honestly. When i was helping a guildie level on some champ mobs i would sometimes go an hour without any purple frags and some times i'd bet 3/10 be purple. Just pretty random.

Yep. Super random. A buddy of mine was killing trolls while I was healing and he got a purp armor frag on the first drop. Second drop was a purp willpower frag. It's just rng
