Return of Reckoning

Yes, cheesy title... deal. I feel obligated to be a sissy at least once since I tend to play a lot of the squishy classes... and other reasons...

Anyways, I was excited to see that this was a thing and decided to come on over and am now in the process of downloading the client. I decided to come here since I wouldn't feel an overwhelming obligation to play as I'm not paying for a sub (A la a certain other MMO I just finally got tired of and retired) and the recent changes to Allods (Which I also got tired of). WAR wise, I played a month after release (I had to get a new computer just to play the game) and played for a couple months but hit a wall and also had to concentrate on academics since I was working on a dual degree (Turned into a single. I'll spare you that groan fest) and when I was near done with college, I decided to check out the forever free trial. Played that awhile and decided to resub. Well... That was interesting. Have you ever felt truly alone somewhere? Well, I jumped into the other T1 pairings and felt it since everyone was free trial at that point. I also had recovered my old KotBS that was starting T3... deader than a doornail. I think that's what caused me to unsub one final time. This was six months prior to WAR being closed. Came back later to discover it was closed and it was like losing a friend and wishing you had spent more time with that friend.

Okay, enough sappiness. Highest ranks were shaman and KotBS. The only issue I ever had was healing. I loved the healing mechanics but the community at early levels really put me off of it. I swear I was getting whispers from across the zone asking for heals. We'll see here. Okay, I'm done talking.

I remember those empty zones till you got to T4 and remember the shock too in rvr, I had levelled fast on xp and hit T4 at like 25rr .
I joined War in the last 18 months of game really and joined a US server as well even though I am in the UK so didn't play at peak time much. The people bringing us all ROR are doing a great job and so much works really well already so enjoy yourself and savour that feeling of being back in War and with that old friend again.

Thank you both. I saw a couple of the event videos and it does look like the people are doing a good job. Now the fun part: Figuring out what to play.
