Return of Reckoning

Hello WARriors, since i while ago it seems i can't login in the game anymore.
Everything worked fine some time ago, not sure how long, since i took a break, but when i retried to enter the game, i got this error.
Searched forums, tried re-download game, re-download launcher, re-performance counter, re-you name it. Seems i keep getting this Critical Error: Authentication failed -- application will now terminate.
Also returned windows to an earlier restore point, thought was an issue connected to a win update, but it seems that did not solved problem either. WINDOWS 10 user.
Out of ideeas for now! Hope to get back in the game somehow, sometime ...
Any suggestions are taken in consideration.

After a crash, I login & fail until now

It seems i can connect only via a vpn ... no ideea why since it worked just fine till a while ago but ... at least works (worse-connection related but works). tried to close vpn after i get into char selection but i get instant disconnect.

Server is down for a hotfix, but I'm bad and it's taking longer than expected.

hmm not sure if this is related. Or if the game is patching?

I can connect, get all the way to the server select screen.

sign in.

Its acting as tho the game/server was reset? Though it has been longer than usual and website is not showing 'offline', but it doesnt always show offline when it is. Dunno.
Anyone else?

even i can login. It is very lag!!!cant do sc!!!

Depends on what country / vpn connection you get available .. today i got a good one from France ... worked very smooth compared to asian vpn ones ... even though i don't know why but it tends to connect faster via an asian vpn, it just work a bit more laggy ... btw, as a vpn soft, i use SoftEther VPN Client Manager.
