Return of Reckoning

Hello,

It has been stated before that the reason Sovereign Sets aren't in game yet is due to balance issues and how they are too powerful. However, since people can (and have) reached 80 RR. Why not treat them with ability to purchase a sovereign set for cosmetics and appearance (no stats on items)? It would definitely make the grind to 80 more enjoyable.

They can be removed when the proper sets (with stats) are reintroduced to ROR.

Please share your valuable thoughts.

TL;DR:
It would extremely rewarding for the higher renown rank players to have the option to use the "Appearance" of Sovereign Gear.

Aesthetics play a huge role in this game. Players can grind a lot just to look pretty. Those awesome appearances will be reserved to a really high grindy sets I suppose.

Hence the high renown ranking minimum requirement(s).

Your beloved sov set will be in the game as we progress developing this server. Its also a milestone for us to introduce these sets and it would be kinda lame to release them now as a skin :/

Hmm, maybe as appearance should be given Warpforged, because - yes 80th need a some stylization. Then left Sovereign as a new set? It not secret that i love warpforged set look , but he will be to powerful a long time, especially in new, very good rvr system.

As it stands the idea is not to release warpforged with its original stats if it gets stats at all. But theres nothing written in stone yet. I believe even sov might get some tweaks to bring it more in line and reduce the gear creep.
