Return of Reckoning

Hey guys wanted to try something new and thought about a dps tank. I'm not a veteran so I decided to ask.

Who are the top dps-tank on RoR? I prefer 2h but if any SnB is not a problem at all

From what i read on topics looks like Chosen and IB

Not Chosen.

It is between BG, IB and SM imho. My vote goes to BG.

The best 2H dps tank is SM imo, thanks to WoDS, the 2 spirit debuffs and Ether dance.
Best at both defense and offense, and not particularly hard to master or limitating, unlike BG or IB.

But lacks AoE snare like a BO/IB/KotBS/BG, a superpunt like IB/BG/KotBS/Chosen, and even a KD if you go for a Khaine/Hoeth spec (for the strong double spirit debuff).

Has less conventionally-tanky 'stuff' than the BG, that's true, but it depends what the OT means by 'best'.

Where SM has the edge in damage, other off tanks got more utility.

In my experience, you can't do damage if you are CC'd. On my BO, I HATE when enemies keep punting me around and I can't do the same to them . On my Chosen, I love superpunting SMs away from the fight

BG can do the same, and they can arguably do more damage as well assuming their targets use Detaunt. Because Anti-detaunt.

OP is asking for the best dps 2h tank, and it that respect my choice would be SM -- spirit damage is no joke when you spec into it. Obviously there are other factors about what works best in the team role from a 2h perspective, but for pure damage probably SM.
