Return of Reckoning

I have a question regarding one of my friends accounts, or lack of it. He made an account roughly august of last year, and about march - april-ish, the it started acting like the account didn't exist, but when he went to remake it with the same email, and username it said both were still in use. He tried the password recovery, and it said the account name and email were not in use.
So he made a new account and we played on it for a little bit, but due to life we had to stop for a couple months. He went to log into it here recently and the second account he made is now doing the same things as the previous account, i was wondering if there was any way for you to help us recover one or the other?

Check Armory(on this website) to see whether the toons in that account are still in the database, there was a wipe by the way to release names during the period you mentioned.
