Return of Reckoning

Hey, everyone! First and foremost, I wanted to thank the developers and admins for their work on this. The game itself was always a bit rough (back when I played the official version), but playing an orc was always just too much fun. I was very excited to see this project in the works and decided to give it a go.

So, I watched the tutorial and downloaded everything. First things first - I ran into this error:

So I unchecked the Read Only option and made sure the RoR launcher was in the correct Warhammer folder. I then tried to run it again, received the same error but the application actually launched anyway. I moved the folder itself outside of the original torrent download location as well. Unfortunately, I'm now met with a second error that I can't seem to correct - even though I'm able to log into the client, I can't actually get into the game as the 'Launch' button (or whatever the button on the right side that brings you to your characters is) is grayed out. I read that it may just be a matter of having to keep trying so I attempted it a dozen times just to be sure (running it as Administrator and otherwise), but I haven't had any luck.

I just downloaded this today and am having the exact same problem. Exact same sentiment towards and history with the game as OP as well. WAAAGH!

This was related to something else, it has nothing to do with the error log you get.

Download this version of the launcher. Unpack it and put it in the game folder (replace any existing files). Then log in

Worked like a charm - thanks so much for the quick reply. Can't wait to krump you lot in game - in the most endearing way an orc can, of course. WAAAGH!
