Return of Reckoning

I need a quick rundown on Xaphan cause so far i failed miserably with 3 different groups.All i know is that you have to dispel his debuff and that's about it,but the results are always the same - Wipe.
Should i make a 2group warband?try with 3 healers?

Warbands don't get the kill count if I'm correct. Only one group of the wb.

ok so cheesing the fight with a warband is out of the question.

As far as I know, he even scales with the number of players around.

1. no debuff. boss's healing ability is increased greatly with debuffs.
stat debuff, heal debuff, armor debuff, pet debuff etc. just any debuff are bad.
make sure none of that applies to boss.

Or

2. WP group cleanse. and second healer cleanse WP.
debuff named 'spirit ~ ' seems like boss's healing skill. icon is silver color.
cleanse it asap, like immediately. 2~3 sec late = already healed.
it's only cleansable debuff for WP. you may debuff boss if WP were good at cleanse.

method no.1 is doable w/o WP
boss have damage reflection. avoid too much burst. you can DoT but it hurts you.
