Data.myp:
System.InvalidOperationException: Category does not exist.
at System.Diagnostics.PerformanceCounterLib.CounterExists(String machine, String category, String counter)
at System.Diagnostics.PerformanceCounter.InitializeImpl()
at System.Diagnostics.PerformanceCounter..ctor(String categoryName, String counterName, String instanceName, Boolean readOnly)
at System.Diagnostics.PerformanceCounter..ctor(String categoryName, String counterName, String instanceName)
at MYPHandler.MYPHandler..ctor(String filename, del_FileTableEventHandler eventHandler_FileTable, del_FileEventHandler eventHandler_Extraction, HashDictionary hashDic)
at RoRLauncher.Client.UpdateWarData()

That is the error. I tried to use the "lodctr /r" in cmd promt I got an error called "Unable to rebuild performance counter setting from system backup store, error code is 5" which essentially means access is denied.

I tried to use the alternative files/RoR launcher and that didn't change the error. I tried to port forward, allow the program to windows firewall + Disabling AVG firewall entirely while launching the program to see if that helped (it didn't). Read something about deleting a "readme", did that cus why not. And yes changed the folder's access to "read only", ran in compatibility mode for service pack 3, and as administrator.

The error allows me to fully launch the game no issues, but I can't see the server list. Just the default options (Cinematic, quit etc) and I see the background. Audio works fine. If there was a walkthrough I happened to miss please link me it rather than tell me "it was solved before". Thanks in advance.

When you go to run command prompt, be sure to right click > run as administrator so you get admin rights to perform commands.

I did that and it said "Successfully rebuilt performance counter setting from system backup store", but when I go to launch the game (After disabling my firewalls temporarily), I still get the same error.

Try running this batch command file to attempt rebuilding performance counters. Unzip it and run as administrator.
