Return of Reckoning

I created a Magus with the intent of roleplaying him one day, but honestly I've never tried to rp anything other than traditionally "good" guys. I realize good vs evil is a matter of perspective, but I need help understanding the chaos culture in order to flesh out my character. For example, what do they do when they're not at war? Do they have villages in Norsca? Are they semi-nomadic? What about kids? Are there traditional family structures? Merchants, traders, craftsman? I know they're modeled after the Vikings but the two cultures are obviously different in many ways. I just need help understanding their mentality.

What do they do when they're not at war?
:| , incest , slaugthering other barbarian tribes , praying to their false gods.
Do they have villages in Norsca?
Hovels.
Are they semi-nomadic?
Correct.
What about kids?
Food , potential soldiers.
Are there traditional family structures?
Basic , sharing traits with animal kingdom , such as Alpha males which you have to challenge to gain their :| toys and crude weapons. Some barbarian tribes have developed initiations and rites of passage , all of course vile and blasphemous.
Merchants, traders, craftsman?
Pillage , Pillage , Pillage.

Do not delete your magus. No everyone is capable to understand sophisticated culture of Norsmen. Or stand against the mighty warriors and cunning wizards of the North. Empire salvation depends on blood of Norsmen. And they will gladly give their "blood" to empire women .... just after they spill the blood of their husband.

You have them misunderstood, all the things the northmen do, they do to be noticed by Chaos God-senpai.

Just going from the video alone, i'd say the RP element is pretty good, sorta Conan the barbarian meets a sort of medevil style mad max, mixed with lots of horrific tales of demonic mutations, backstabbery and all out general mayhem and horror.

Heck if i was magus i'd say i was the son of an empire farmer who turned chaos worshipper and sacrificed his family and friends for untold powers a sort of dark deceiver who indulges in toying with peoples mind only to see them suffer for the amusement of the chaos gods.

I don't RP much myself so its more food for thought.

Tzeentch wouldnt grant a Disc to some farmer. Magus is a very talented mage that got blessed by a one of the gods of chaos. You can roleplay an ex Bright Wizard that went rogue or something along those lines. Also in the lore chaos sorcerers are pretty damn powerful unlike in this game.

Just turn your Magus into some ancient wizard who knows all the mysteries of women. Problem solved.
