Right before the game launches i get a error message

Then I am at the main menu but have no options except settings, credits, cinematic, exit

I have the same problem. I unzipped all the launcher files into the same folder containing War.exe as instructed and get the same error messsage and no character creation option.

Already had a copy of that in the folder but I overwrote it with the file from the link, no change.

A few things you could try:

- Check if read only is enabled on the said file.
- Check if you need to unblock the file to allow access rights.
- Add an exception for the entire game folder on your anti-virus/anti-malware software (it's not uncommon for them to prevent read/write privileges on certain files).
- Check firewall rules to allow for War.exe and RoR launcher.exe.

These would be the main steps to check. Ensure also that the said files that are claimed as missing are actually in the game folder. A lot of the time anti malware software will automatically remove foreign files if they get flagged.

Moving the game folder to another hard drive location could help also. No guarantees.

Thanks you guys. Downloaded the files then replaced the old ones with them in a new folder and it works. Was able to log in and make a character.
