Scenario Rewards

HI, I just finished doing a Phoenix Gate sc and I ran the flag 4 times ( I think) and 1 other guy ran it once and at the end I thought I'd be near the top for RP reward but sadly I was 8th place.
I only did 6k damage, top guy did 40k (choppa) but my point is shouldn't the person doing the objective(s) in a sc be getting top RP or near the top?
I find in alot of these sc's people just tend to duke it out in the middle of the map and don't even attempt to do the objectives and I guess my above story is why?

well i dont know about if u gain rr from caping flags, byt if u do dps or guard some ather clases u gain rr and xp. also if u heal u gain rr.

because most people prefer pvp over boring flag capture. though it is a bit odd, i admit, for you to have come 8th place after having done it 4 times.

I think they recently made rr and drops in scenarios group based, noticed that our premades are getting way more rr than the offgroups.
also PG is a big scenariosand its possible he got a few solo kills.

This just promotes fighting in the middle with objectives being ignored!

Good scenario design will never promote objectives being ignored. One of the best changes on this server was pooling RR based on points scored, I've had plenty of scenarios were our team has ~5 kills vs like 60 and we got 10x more RR thanks to us actually playing objectives and beating them 500-100 or something.
I guess OP's problem is rather one group in a scenario is doing all the killing while the other might be running the part or capping points and gaining less renown
