Return of Reckoning

Hello there,
I'm creating this topic because i really can't solve my problem. My laucher does not work at all, and i tried and looked for a lot of solutions. So here is the thing: i follow every step describe in the "download game" tab, and when i try to connect, nothing happens at all. Like, i push "Connect" button , nothing happens.
So what i tried:
I re-download the game and the launcher 2 times, i also tried by the torrent way (the version i have right now)
I disable "read only" in the War folder,
I tried with the JeFawks Mini RoR launcher,
I uninstall Ccleaner, try to launch several times the launcher, nothing change, then i re-install it
And i'm usually launching the game with my admin rights

Also, i found a lot of topics talking about "just connect, if it does not work, close the launcher on each failed attempt and try logging in again. Do it until it works (it could take 20 shots sometimes)".
I'm actually trying this since almost 1 week.

So maybe there is something i'm not doing right, don't know.

I'm very sorry to open another of this kind of topic, but i did look on the forum, read a lot of posts, and try a lot of things. So i really don't see what else to do

Hope we could find a solution, i can't wait to go in the Old World

Same problem for me! Crash and after cant launch game again ..

Hmmm. Maybe try to change password. It worked for me. Ror authentication server does not work fast/well with special characters.

Try to add the launcher to the exeptions in the firewall.

Did it, does not change anything :S
I just have a question, do we agree that the "installation" of the game just mean you need to unzip the folder. You don't really need an installation, right ? When you unzip your file, you already have the 10go folder ready

do you have any error msg?

Open task manager and when you do open RoRLauncher and hit connect button.
Watch Task manager in the meantime.
Do you see War.exe?

No .. i dont see nothing in Task Manager ...

No error message at all, the connect button just turn grey, and nothing happens. With the JeFawks Mini RoR launcher, it tells "connection established, have fun" or something like that, but nothing happens also.
About the task manager, the same here. I already try to see if it appears, but no :S

Tried running Launcher as Administrator? :/

Yes...game is ready in the folder. You just need to tweak the settings( Read only and place the Launcher in the folder).
No need to touch anything else.
