Return of Reckoning

After launching the game I get the black box and shortly after game crashes and I get the Authentication Failed message. I've read all the Sticky notes and I've watched the video about being patient and trying it over and over till it works but I've been trying it roughly for about 2 hours and not getting any success. I just downloaded ROR for the first time.

Is there anything else I can try to actually log in a start the game?

Update: Ive tried moving the files and folder around. Ive tried disabling firewall and re-downloading client and launcher. Ive now put in about 5 hours of trying to launch to character screen. Anyone have the same problem and fixed it? or any advice? Id appreciate it. I love this game and cant wait to play it again!

I tried to post a SS of the actually message but its not working. Basically the black box is to the right on the character select screen, shortly after it freezes and a white box appears and says :

"Authentication Failed -- application will now terminate."

Yes, I have to use vpn as well. All day, every day.

i got vpn but only on with this game and swtor.

Having this issue as well, trying to come back to WAR for a while but this is stopping me flat out. Tried all the usual suspects for fixing to no avail.
