[Chosen] Few questions

So as I'm soon to return I've got a few questions about my go-to class. Here goes:
1. How is the Auras mechanic? Can you still activate 3 auras at any given time or is it brought down to 1?
2. Is it still viable to grab a great weapon and go Path of Dread?
3. How much has this class changed since last year or something?

1. Aura mechanic is nearly the same, but even more braindead since you just activate 3 of them and they are on as long as you want. It's not like back on live where the effect runs out after 12 sec.
2. Honestly 2h Chosen is what the class is designed for, but with the huge amount of way to strong range dps on order side you need really good gear to pull that off without being a burden for your team. I highly recommend playing with SnB for until rr40 atleast.
3. Chosen hasn't changed much, skills are mostly the same as they were. Only the Class mechanic like i said in 1.

Much appreciated, thank you very much.

2h chosens purpose is to apply dmg and crippiling strikes in an AoE
It's mainly only good for orvr scenarios but pretty much in every situation SNB spec is superior and you can still apply crippling strikes in an AoE with blast wave

Blastwave for applying CS? Good one. 15 sec cooldown is way too long and with 5%-10% crit on a SnB Tank you have to pray for a crit on the right targets. Backlash is a better source for CS then Blastwave will ever be.

Who ever runs backlash? Chosen has too many good tactics besides that imo.

you need to also consider in the targets own chance to be crit and debuffs from other sources for example the avg player has 11-20% chance to be crit then you got stuff like crimson daeth, WE ini debuff, BO ini stat steal etc etc etc so give or take you can atealst have 30% chance to crit on a target
I never said it was a good way to apply AoE CS i just you can with it still dosnt change the fact that SnB chosen is hands down better in terms of both utility and surviveability and thats was the trie spec with SnB was so favored both now and on live

While Crippling Strikes is clearly easier to apply as 2h chosen, I agree with Tenton, snb Chosen is superior. The only advantage 2h chosen has is the easier application of CS. Snb Chosen is tankier, so better at guard, can have both the kd and the stagger rather than one or the other, and it has Destined for Victory which is one of the best tactics in the game. 2h Chosen is the lowest damage 2h tank in the game, alongside Kotbs, and it doesn't even provide 10% crit/exclusive access to a wounds debuff like the Kotbs does, so you have even less reason to run it.
I will say, 2h Chosen is decent at 1v1ing other melee toons. That's about it though.
And before you ask, yes I play a Chosen. My main is Ironbreaker but I have an r40 Chosen. It was my first character on this server and probably my most played still.
