Hey guys - first to the admins, long time DAoC & Warhammer player here. Appreciate the effort that you guys have put into this.

What side is more populated? I prefer to play on the underdog side. The website home page seems to indicate that Order needs more players, but after reading a few forum posts it seems that they're actually more populated?

It swings. I'd say destro is underpopulated right now, but orvr is kinda wonky where one side will dominate for a few hours, then it swaps, then it swaps back.

Any specific class needs that seem to be lacking? Heals etc?

Both sides have abundance of DPS.

Destro has a lot of tanks, and it can be a struggle to find healers from what I recall.

Order has a bunch of RDPS and lacks tanks and to a lesser extent healers.

Tanks and healers will always find a spot in WBs (Phalanx frequently asking for Tanks and heals to fill out their WBs).

That said, roll what you enjoy, not what you think is needed. The realms are big enough that someone will find a spot for you if you are good enough at your roll.

I'd say EU prime-time is dominated by Order for sure, and I think maybe NA prime-time is destruction? Could be wrong here tho. I'd say destro is the overall less populated side currently.

Depend on timezone, EU are order dominate but NA is destro dominate

We will have to wait and see when they implement side lockout. It may be people don't want to give up on their order/destro mains that one side gains 60 precent of the population. Then we will be in trouble.

Not really a question of population. Do you want to play the coooolest fantasy race ever!?
Than you can only join order as a dwarf.
