Return of Reckoning

After following the different steps to get the launcher to work I've come across a roadblock. I'm getting this string as my error code: Error starting: System.IO.FileNotFoundException: Could not find file 'C:\Users\Shane\Desktop\WAR\RoR Launcer\WAR.exe'

I would have copied the error code to clipboard, but the button was red. I'm not sure how to fix this error. I have made sure all the files for WAR were not read only. I have the launcher in the same folder as the war.exe. I also have moved everything away from the folder the torrent created. I've also done all the cmd steps hoping that they would help.

If anyone is able to help me get past this error it would be most appreciated. Thank you in advance.

File Not Found. RoRlauncher.exe can't see WAR.exe.

The launcher needs to go into the WAR folder, not the other way around.

I moved the launcher into the WAR folder. I also created a new folder to move all the WAR files out of the folder created by the torrent. As stated I've tried the steps that y'all provided to fix different issues hoping one of them would help, including downloading a fresh RoR Launcher.

Hopefully I am not missing anything

1- remove client from your torrent
2- uncheck "read only" in your folder properties

Man ive tried all of this but I cannot get rid of this error, any ideas? :X

NVM... amazing what a little reading can do, the mythloginserviceconfig.xml was in the wrong folder when it downloaded.

ok easy to solve.

Launcher has been updated. Download it again and you would be able to FINALLY go ingame :p.

I'll redownload the launcher and try again. I'll post back if I'm still having issues.

Alright so after trying again I now get a different error code pictured below.



Any ideas on how to fix this?

Wanted to provide an update. After going through and not only unchecking the read-only option for the entire WAR folder, I went through and double checked each item. I also redid the performance counters for what seems like the 9th or 10th time.

All in all...I can login and create a character now. Thank you to those that posted in this thread to offer your suggestions!
