Return of Reckoning

So I did all the downloads perfect followed each step
I launch the game and I get a error screen but I cant copy it due to the clipboard being red
It still goes through though and the game pops up but there are no characters to choose
Only a black box to the right and Cinematic/Credits/Settings/Quit being the only things there
The error that ive looked up and says to get the unpacked launched or the new one and ive tried it but nothing seems to work at all can anyone help me or am I ****?

ah never mind i found the solusition on the section you said. i had to rebuild performance counters from the cmd.
