Hi, i was just wondering if it's possible to make a addon that announce my critical damage with a sound. I know i used one in world of warcraft years ago, and i would like to have it in here to =). The sound i had in (wow) was a female voice saying (Critical damage) every time i did a critical hit.

Is this even possible to make for WAR?

Yes, this is possible, but we are limited to sertain predefined sounds, and can't add own sounds

So in teori, if there are a similar sound or a "special" sound it can be done? Would love such addon Even if the sound is weard/funny or like a bang/sharp sound that stands out from the environment.

I can see this sound being extremely irritating after a while. Imagine spamming an AoE ability that doesn't have a max. target (Wild Swing on Slayer) and scoring all crits. The sound could bug out. Or even having all the AM or Magus dots crit every 0.5 seconds. It wouldn't be pleasent.

Can't you add a option to set a ICD on the sounds so it only trigger once every X second???

Well, i can write one for you OR, we can use this thread for a step-by-step on how to write it yourself...

theres an addon called bloody mess where u can have blood splatter when you crit someone.

So much effort for an addon that is used 1 hour Because after 1 hour you will get annoyed pretty fast. Maybe thats cool for T1 but hell with 50% critchance I would punch a hole into my monitor after 10 minutes
