HIstory of pounce

What are the different versions of pounce.
I only know of this one we are currently in and the AoE damage pounce. Was there a different one other then this? torquemadre mentioned a 3rd version of pounce? Torque or anyone whats the 3rd version of pounce? Was there a early version I didn't know about?

I remember being ablt to pounce without a target... But thats long ago

I remember when I was WL and jumped on the keep wall in High Pass and killed 5 destro and they warned to report me if repeat this. Old good times, I remember like this was yesterday but It was maybe 5 months ago.

On live as I recall -
GTAOE Pounce with Snare
GTAOE Pounce, no snare
ST Pounce, forward only
ST Pounce, forward only, 10s CD (this was quickly rescinded due to tears)
ST Pounce, z-axis (onto keep walls, 1.4.8 YOLO patch)

Which one's had the AoE damage to it wargrimnir?
I think I played my WL from the ST pounce where it was tied to a target but it did AoE damage.
I assume the GTAoE had AoE damage tied to it as well.

6 versions of pounce then, I guess the point that was being made is things change. It's not an immutable ability gifted down from the heavens to be preserved and made sacrosanct.

If it as given down from heaven, i would be the first to ask for change out of sheer principle.^^

Since this ISN'T the balance forums and i'm not restricted to the rules here as I am there, I'd like to see pounce get back its AoE damage component but thats me wish-listing but could make a comeback. I know RoR had pounce with AoE damage on this server at one time.

These were on live servers.
