Warbands

Ok, I leaded a WB yesterday and today. When I gave orders, I mostly was just being ignored or the people did take their sweet time to react. Dont get me wrong, I dont mean all the people here. There were some who did follow orders, but just not enough to win. So I just wanted to ask, why you even join a wb? It seems it is not to coordinate or to help each other out winning.

I did lead, even whole raids on the live servers so I know how it should be. And here it is not as it should be. So I think we should discuss that to make it better.

I leaded on order side, so i only can assume wether it is just as bad on destro or not.

P.S: Sorry if I am ranting on, but I really questioned why we even have warbands yesterday.

If you got what it takes to lead, i say start a guild. It will filter out all the retards that cant go from point A to point B.

I am in a guild. But thats no solution. Not at all. Cause if we fight open we still have to cope with pug warbands as we, even if we could get up a full guild or alliance warband, would need multiple warbands to really succeed aggainst resistance. So the people who cant follow orders will remain to be a problem.

I was in this WB by the while. There was not impossible to stick together because your main forces come to Caledor from DW and you waiting on western BOs and rest people were cloosed in WC because on the bridge was Tinkerbell premade with any other destro. You should put this people in to one group so maybe we will have any cheance to fight but you didn't.

vast majority of people join a warband with no real intention of participating/following orders; solely looking for choochoo easy renown train/lucky purple bags.

as said previously, make a guild or an alliance and get friendly with the right people

As I said, that wont solve the problem, as long as you cant put up 3 or 4 alliance warbands. If you cant you havet to rely on the pugs to have your backs, so they have to learn to follow.

I might be wrong but I think that most active forum users are the ones who follow orders (or at least read them: D). My guess is those who don't follow orders... don't read forum :)

It reminds me of some situation. When I was in high school we had a terrible teacher. Most of students were avoiding his classes. When he saw that there are only 10 out of 30ppl he yelled at us. FFS, WHY? We were there. He should yell at this who were absent :)

Destro play with 1 organized WB, "Porn Factory", or "Phalanax". Didn't saw yet their both 2 full WBs. They are going well with 1 guild WB and some 6 ppl parties. And Order have only pug + some 6 ppl parties but this premades...are too much retatded to cap flags.

I do have to say that two (?) nights ago, when we capped all zones with Destro, Haojun and Lianna did an excellent job coordinating the warbands. And Lianna's WB in particular was very good at following orders (Cairn defense ho!).

That said, I have seen horrible Destro warbands as well, where you have 24 people running 48 ways and a leader unwilling to shuffle groups into good setups. It happens on both sides.

Well, perhaps he hoped you would relay his message to your absent comrades.^^
