mailed medallions disaper

Hi, i'm having an issue on just one of my toons. When I get medallions in the mail (great feature btw) and I take them, they disaper from mail but doesn't transfer over to my backpack. Is this a known error? Saw a post on bugtracker that was Three days old and noone had commented on it.
Would it be wise just to leave the medallions safe in the mailbox for now or shoulf i keep trying?

I have issue with old empty mail I forgot to delete before name change on my char now cant delete them.

If we leave our medallion mails untouched will we be able to take them after the bug is fixed?

No. The system wasn't meant to send anything at all in these cases. You receive a mail with an item count of 0.
