Unable to disable read-only on my Warhammer folder.

So I've been pulling my hair out for a few hours over this, but I am unable to disable read-only on my Warhammer folder. It doesn't give me any prompt that is denying me access/permission to do it, it says it changes all the attributes in the folder when I'm disabling read-only, but when I go back to looking at the properties of the folder, read-only is re-enabled again automatically. I don't know how to fix this at all and it is extremely frustrating. My permissions are all fine in the security properties, it just REFUSES to actually disable read-only even though it says I'm disabling it perfectly fine. It just re-enables every...single...time...and I have no idea how to solve this issue. Has anyone else experienced this? I'm using Windows 10. It's very frustrating and I would love to get a solution to this so I could play with my friends again who still play here.

Well, you're thinking too much into it for one.

The reason we ask people to apply it to the folder is because the read-only flag then propagates down to all the files in the folder, particularly hitting several of the .myp files that need to be unflagged. The folder itself, meh.

Weird. Cause it did disable read-only for the files inside the folder but I was still getting the popup of an error occuring. Not sure what else it could be then. I've already done everything I could that was on the sticky thread. Guess I'm sh*t out of luck :(.

I guess you used torernt to download it? And it is still shared? If yes, just remove the file sharing and retry.
