getting error

i tried remove read only.. but it returns to same..
i copyed game to program files .. and tried remove attribute still same..
i am using windows 10

Same thing is happening to me, i followed all steps aswell. I get the game to launch but no option to create a character.

does not work for me... i can not remove read only ..... its just return again

I tried this and the other steps and am still getting the same error. Do I have to just reinstall or is there a way to fix it?

You need to rebuild performance counters.
