Return of Reckoning

Before the Dark Age began I was working on some crafting. I'm still very low level (Highest character is level 21 iirc), but noticed some quirky things that I'd like to straighten out.

1. I continued to get scavenging level ups past the appropriate level cutoff. I was level 20ish when I picked up the skill and went back to T1 to level it. I was able to get to Scavenging 100 or so off level 7-8 monsters, and was continuing to get level ups when I went over to High Pass to see if I could now scavenge the monsters there. IIRC monsters this low level shouldn't be giving scavenging skill at that point. Is that a bug or an intentional feature?

2. It's currently rather difficult to get any containers above t1 in any meaningful quantity. That said, the level of container doesn't seem to make much difference in the actual outcome, with only level 200 containers adding a measly 1 point. Does anyone know any reason at all to use higher level containers?

3. Do the level of the extra components influence the likelihood of skill ups, or is it only the level of the fragment that matters?

1. The scavenging drops should be based on what you gathering level but also based off what mobs you are killing and what level. (Ex: I needed curios, peasants in Nordland and Ostland dropped lucky rabbit feet for me pretty reliably, and the seals had a good drop rate at the beastmen by the lake in Ostland.

2. If you do ORvR a lot and get a bag off a keep take that doesn't have any gear you want and you don't need the medallions take the crafting item. You can take a box/vial/soil etc. Also if your guild is high enough level you can buy the level 50 boxes from a merchant in the Viper's Pit or Sigmar's Hammer.

3. I haven't tried to level up with just the bare minimum at the higher levels but I do think it matters.
