No ETA of any kind. If it's like last time, however, it could be down for 5 days.
Or it could be down for 2 weeks.

My understanding is someone with enough disposable income (like not even 100 bucks a month) could keep the server shutdown basically forever?
Devs can't take donations, but at the same time they need a lot of money for DDOS protection much more than it costs to do the attacking.
IDK what the devs can do, or if it is something they want to or could even share openly. But I guess the question to ask would be...
"If the attacks continue like they are indefinitely do you guys think you would be able to get the server up any running again without needing to take donations?"

I also have been wondering this.

Be patient, it is obvious that the devs are waiting something. the most sad thing is if the server will run again for a few hours and go out for a week. the eternal wait is our pay for the free server.

I think that the purpose of the DDos attackers extortion. explain with an example: there was a successful, private server WOW online about 50000 peoples, donate is present it. I will not name in order not to make advertising. once they were offered protection from DDos attack, they refused, then the server closed forever. I think that the developers of this server know possible ways of developing their server and maybe that server will start after a very long period of time or never. I think that the devs of this server know possible ways of developing their server and maybe that server will start after a very long period of time, or never. I hope that they will find a way to fight with the damn DDos attackers and the server will be stable and full time working. and don't forget that the server is still in alpha phase

Problem with the situation is that we literally cannot donate to the dev team in any way shape or form, lest GW bring the hammer down on the server. We're talking about a company so overprotective of it's IP that they brought legal action against a pre teen using unofficial minis in a GW store.

No bad intentions, love the game as I sit here patiently for the server to come back up.

If not for RoR I don't know where I'd get my WaR addiction back and now I know where it is.

We are currently working on the issue, I can't give an exact ETA but we will be working on it throughout the weekend.
