Return of Reckoning

Hello fellow RoRers!

If you are in Turkey right now don't come outside, there is coup going on here in this very moment and if you happen to spend your summer @ Turkey stay in your hotel room! From what I know the road to ankara is blocked and the flights are stopped, UNDER no circumstances come anywhere near official buildings (police station, gov buildings etc)

If you are happen to be safe please report in that you are indeed safe

From the looks of things on the news people better stay indoors, lots of gun fire going on

Suggestions are that the attempted coup is failing.

here, in the capital, i can still hear gun fires, there were huge explosions early, jets and hellys are flying above the city.

hope it will be ok. what was the reason of attempt? no news for that moment.

secular military angry Edrogan is pissing on Ataturk grave by slowly introducing islam as state religion, or that seems like the most likely explanation now.

Too much goddamn hostility and violence in the world. Hoping the situation resolves quickly and without harm to innocents.
