Just really started playing this, and i want to make a allout tank char. What are some tips or suggestions to do that?

hey ulrik. you cant go wrong with the kotbs if you wanna play a decent sword and board tank. choose the 'path of vigilance', get some toughness talismans, use toughness and armor pots, spend your renown points in parry, block and dodge/disrupt ... and get (almost )unbreakable

Use Strength, Toughness, Resist auras. Spam Crippling Blow and Shining Blade and Time your interrupts using Taunt/Vicious Slash. Challenge for 30% damage reduction on targets. Shield Rush for a defensive bonus.

Use Toughness, Resists and Stay Focused auras for 15% extra healing for groups. Same as before with the other skills. You will get Punt+Root around this time. Punt to keep dps away from your healers, or punt guards away to kill a guarded target easier. Root is good for stopping melee trains from pushing hard onto you, albeit for the duration of the root.

Endgame get 2pc ruin 3pc anni, and get the "The Winds Impervious" jewlery set. With an armour potion this will put you around 4500 armour. From here, a mix of armour talis + toughness talis to beef up.

Renown in 20pts parry, 10pts block and 10pts in resolute defence.

The suck/good at almoast everything build. Its great for puging. Wouldn't recomend it for premades.

What jewelry is best to run for a newly-40 KotBS?
