Return of Reckoning

Hello I used to play the game a very long time ago, going to be joining this server later tonight, having completely missed the last few years of WAR, I'm not sure what class to go. I am thinking of going sorc because I enjoy casting and having an australian ping melee may not be as viable, but I also prefer to do single group roaming rather than zerg fights, is a sorc viable in this situation or should i make a healer of some sort?

You can play any class you'd like. The hardest part is going to be playing when the server is actually up. We've had about maybe 9 hours-ish uptime in the past week or so.

Sorcs are totally viable in oRvR roaming groups, so go ahead and roll one if that's what you enjoy playing

Oh nice, I just remember something about everyone going melee trains, is the population good when the server is up?

Melee train is still the meta for hardcore 6v6, but only a handful of guilds even care about that right now. Pretty much anything is viable outside of that in some sort of fashion. In general you will be more valuable to prospective guilds or pick up groups in /5 if you are on a tank or healer though.

Allright awesome, might even try a marauder depending on how good/bad my ping is.
