Which class is needed/recomended ?

Hey guys, I am a faily new player (about 3 or 4 weeks), currently playing a SH. I was wondering which other class(es) do you recommend me to play?

Don't get me wrong, I love my squig but I am one of those people that likes to min max. In open RvR doesn't really matter as I can put presure on a few people with perma heal debuff and in 1v1 fights I do pretty well, even agaisnt level 40 characters (currently 39/38). I want to focus more on a core RvR small scale team/SC group. Which, in your opinion, are the classes that are a must for such a team compositions. I don't mind been a melee DPS (although too many people go this way) or a tank (been able to harras and support the team)

All opinions are welcome, even the ones telling me to stick with the herder. Might be persuaded to give healing a shot if, but not likely to happen.

I believe in a t4 there is not enough tank's . If you like playing tank, it would be great. In sc's there are always only 1 or 2 tanks...

SH is a perfectly fine class for all aspect of the game, good in 6v6, good in scenarios, good at roaming good in warbands. All you need to do is switch specs now and then as all specs arn't optimal in all situations. I also recomend learning the Squig Armor spec as it's really good in organized large sacel RVR.

If you are looking for spots in a guild or just pick up groups in general

Destro:
BO/Chosen > DoK

Order:
WP > Knight/SM > RP

The order is just my personal experience/opinion but if you pick any of those 7 classes you have probably a 10x easier chance of finding a group in /5 or finding a spot in a decent guild. Funnily enough tanks are probably the hardest archetype to master and have the most impact on a groups overall success.

Yeah I love my squiggie, just worried that I won't be able to find a premade group/guild as easy as if I were another class. Atm it is not working 100%, sticky squigz won't knock you back if your target is inmune to snare and apparently there also a big with kaboom which I haven't tested as I m not lv40 yet. Those two abilities are key for survival. I do feel that as a physical damage rdps I have to stack crazy amounts of WS to go through all the armor stacking. Trying to get to 40 and gear up to feel how it goes. Any other opinions or suggestions as for gear/stats/builds are welcome :)

I don'T know much about Herders, but I experimented a lot with physical damage and, imo, 500WS seems to be a sweet spot for maxing out damage across the board (light, medium, heavy armor) + it should leave you some room to stack a bit ball and crit.

My humble opinion only :)

As for class options, I agree with Jaycub. (Although, I still prefer IBs over SM xD)
