Return of Reckoning

Apparently the game doesn't want to go into full-screen or rather the in-game user settings don't work (does not work in login screen as well).

Also, when I click on the drop down menu for full-screen nothing happens. See pic @:

Any ideas? Other than re-downloading the torrent. I have every single file in the Warhammer readable (no read-only).
